Cambridge University Press will host a paper on Irish Women and the Great War by Dr Fionnuala Walsh of UCD on Thursday August 20th from 4.00-5.00pm.
Dr Fionnuala Walsh will discuss her new book Irish Women and the Great War on Thursday 20th August from 4-5pm. Her new book explores the impact of the Great War on the lives of women in Ireland, the impact of the war on their employment opportunities, family and domestic life, social morality and politicisation.
